So many people are addicted to this junk.

Mediocre phone for high prices. It's no different than any other luxury item. BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, Infinity, Audi, etc. Nothing more than a car, with leather seats and mildly decent performance (when compared to something 1/2 the price).

Luckily, the public is starting to find out that it's mediocre and simply not worth the money. Why Apple's marketshare is shrinking.

^ Yes, cheap and ugly products tend to be more popular than the high-end ones. In this case, the 400 Android gadgets out there are the popular stuff. Apple never meant to be hugely popular, it meant to sell to people who want things that are beautiful, and that work efficiently. And that are comfortable with paying for that.

Isn't Samsung suing to keep the iPhone out of Korea?

Pls, don't compare this crap to Bimmers, the ultimate driving machines. BMWs are worth their values, this phone is not.

A country of 300 million people and the most creative thing America can create is the iphone.

Cheap and ugly products eh. Nah, more like cheap, functional, and gorgeous products. What's the point for paying more for something that's the same as another product.

@blackrock

As for BMWs, yes, they are not worth their value. When you can get a comparable Japanese car, that easily outperforms it, while costing less. If you're going for just comfort, then sure. A BMW will ride smoother, have adequate power, and more luxuries than a Japanese car. Outright performance, I'd take an STI or Evo over an M1 or M3. Those pieces of crap.

Didn't the US create the hardware for the phones, computers, and a slew of other things.

Having had my Iphone 5 now for a month l can say it is totally great. Have come over to the iphone after bad experiences with other smart phones and cannot even compare them for quality....
