The selling point for me might be the region compatibility. What I loved about my DSlite (and my PSP as well) was that I could import games and buy them in my own country. If they've kept that, then I will definitely consider saving up for this.

Can't wait to get my hands on this machine! I'm not too crazy about the 3D craze going on for TVs and games but I'll make an exception for the 3DS.

The title doesn't make sense. Should read "Nintendo cuts profit, 3DS not ready for Christmas". I'm not crazy about the 3D thing either, checked out a TV in a store last week, definitely not good in my opinion.
