The Wii is already comfortably priced. They just need to keep pumping out interesting games. JT reported a surge in PS sales recently; probably people getting keen for the next Final Fantasy game in a few months. But the Wii keeps getting in gamers from all walks of life. For a laugh, look up Wiimote accidents on youtube. You can probably find plenty of videos of people who fail to use the Wiimote's hand strap, and accidently release their Wiimote whilst 'serving' in tennis, smashing their flatscreen and plasma TVs .

The wiis novelty is wearing off, and Wii music was a huge dud.A game system is only as good/innovative as its games, and Nintendo is going to learn this the hard way.The dsi is a disappointment.

Ninjazilla they are still number one, Sony and the other one are still trailing, PS3 has (also) a sixaxis controlor they could make games more directed at the casual player.

Why would they cut prices? People still want the thing and someplaces are still sold out. I would check Craig's list though...good deals.

Nintendo has sold the Wii at a profit since it came out. As is normal with a new console over time production costs fall, for the Wii this has been estimated at 45%. Yet Nintendo is happy to line its pockets with the extra margin instead of lowering prices. And why should they when they've been unable to meet demand for years. The irony is that the consumers that are suckered into buying this overpriced plastic toy soon find that the quality of Wii titles is atrocious. Which is why most Wii's end up gathering dust in cupboards after a few weeks fooling around.

temporaryVisa - that statement sounds like nonsense to me.

How could you possibly know what happens to most Wii's? Maybe that happened to yours. But you are not most people. You don't speak for the entire Wii-purchasing population of the world.
