this is the same type of system that the airports used is it not? I do believe it's a total failure, because people need to have taken a science course at least once to understand how flu is spread. You could be totally contagious and not set off this alarm. Which is why this failed at airports, and it will also fail here.
Canadian scientists have a new nano-chip that can be programmed for each virus type. If the virus is present then you'd know, not guess. But that's years away from implementation.

I wish my school had this.At least 3 workers near me blatantly show flu symptoms and are happy to share their germs.

They should put them at the ticket gates at all train stations. If you are sick and without a mask, no ride.

These things don't work to stop spread of flu. Z cars are nice though.

I do believe that it's partially effective to at least keep those obviously sick home. In Japan you're supposed to go to work even if you have Ebola or Bubonic Plague... It's a way to let people save face.
