Why pay $30 when there are plenty of free programs that make copies without any restrictions?

As much as I used to really dislike Real, I really like being able to download any video clips with their software, including youtube videos.

This is so old. I started renting DVDs and making perfect copies of them (with encryption completely removed) since five years ago.

Why spend $30? There are a thousand programs out there to copy DVDs to your hard drive, and none of them keep the CCS with the file. As a matter of fact, the majority of the direct download to own video has NO DRM or other copy protection on the videos at all. DRM is an old, archaic way of thinking that is swiftly being phased out.

If RealNetworks is good at anything it's incurring wrath.
