Apple needs to find new hardware suppliers for its products.

I think Sony still can change the game if they make the products more durable. Perhaps use Titanium alloy and giviing users an option to use multiple OS like WEB OS, Blackberry, Android or even Windows RT. Of course, the CPU has to be the fastest possible.

Apple will cane them in tablets. Like they do with smartphones. Not on volume. They just own the high end.

Still happy with my Nexus 7 and it was way cheaper than the IPad mini. Price is a big factor and apple lost it there, even my friends who are apple-fans recommend the Nexus.

Never in Japan. Japanese will be loyal to Americans.

Very unlikely to happen that Sony can change the game. They're too busy trying to survive (its bonds are junk status), nevermind changing the game. Samsung's revenue will soon reach $400 billion, and they're revamping to become a complete solution company, including a new OS software that will unify all the Samsung made and even non Samsung made appliances.

The only two serious competitors are Samsung and Apple. Nobody else even comes close.

Shouldn't be long for Samsung to accomplish this goal. It's the Nexus that they have to compete with now. It'll also be interesting to see what offerings Lenovo comes up with. Their Yoga looks promising portability-wise, though it falls short of Samsung and Google Nexus in terms of specs and performance... And then there are those Apple phones and tablets, which are pretty much non-competitive redundant tech lacking in any real innovation or improvement.
