I hope it comes with 256 gigs of storage because with photos that large you will need it!

A headline that starts - "Samsung steals." Couldn't have said it better myself.

40 megapixel camera? Well, they have to sell, but thats ridiculous. My phone has 8 Megapixels and is lower quality than my 7yo Canon powershot that has 3megapixels

"Samsung steals march on Nokia with first Windows phone" once again, shoddy misleading headline that is just plain wrong.
Windows Mobile was out a long time ago, and Samsung used it. Then Windows Phone 7 came out and again the Samsung Omnia 7 came out a year before the Nokia phones.
Hell, Windows and Windows Phone aren't even the same system, regardless of the shared kernel. Not to mention there are 11 versions of Windows (not including NT, server, and minor revisions like 98SE) and just two of Windows Phone (7 and 8, as well as a few versions of CE for smartphones and Windows Mobile).
This should say "Samsung steals march on Nokia with first Windows Phone 8 handset"
That said, it's one great OS and sexy looking phone.

That's just shoddy reporting on the subject. They mean a 40MP sensor, not that it outputs 40MP images. The Nokia PureView sensor is a 41MP sensor that is normally reduced to 5-8MP (but can output 38MP if needed) either by binning or zooming. Basically you can zoom without changing the focal length, cutting down on cost, complexity, and thickness, while improving image quality in the process. Not perfect, but pretty darn good idea, and it actually goes head to head with top end point and shoot cameras in terms of image quality. Maximum size is about 15MB per image at 40MP, so your 256GB would be 17k photos. While I can go through that in a month (and came close to it in a week once), very few people will take even a tenth of that a year. Your normal 8-32GB memory for the phone is plenty.

As a result of the outcome of the recent court case between Apple and Samsung, it's very unfortunate to say that Samsung will forever be known as the copycat company.
