Samsung to release Note 4 'phablet' on Oct 17

The South Korean consumer electronics titan credited with being the first major manufacturer to blend tablet and smartphone features

Actually the dell streak was the first....oh how people ridiculed that phone!

A bit of biased reporting here... There's more info here about the iPhone 6 than the Note 4. That said, the Note 4 is a monster of a phone! Now if only they could figure out a way to change that "phablet" moniker.

Dutchduck: I've never even heard of thre Dell Streak, learn something new everyday.

As it looks, only the Note Edge will be sold in Japan. There's no mention of the note 4 on the samsung japan homepage. Not that i'm too disappointed , but i would have liked to try them both out.
