Before that somebody at Waseda University claimed to have made Egyptian beer from an "ancient recipe" deciphered from hieroglyphics and sold it for 450 yen a bottle. I swear I couldn't differentiate it from Bud Lite.

Great... one more overpriced can of beer that tastes exactly the same as all the others. When are they going to get some decent micro-breweries as an alternative for the crap beer out there. There are 10 or so 'different' kinds of Sapporo beer at the local Konbini (not to mention Asahi and Kirin), and with Christmas around the corner we'll be seeing the 'Christmas' beer soon, but they all taste EXACTLY the same!
