Nomura losing 275m in Madoff investment was reported in Crime Section, Sharp's misconduct in Technology Section? Anyway, severe blow to Sharp already facing hardship due 'global' recession.

Price fixing in Japan, well I never!!!

They must have done such a crass job of it that the Japanese govenment had no choice but to state the obvious. Otherwise such practices are totally ignored in Japan in the cause of bettering 'Japan Inc'.

"arguing that Sharp and Hitachi Display alone “could not have controlled the prices" Thats like saying "we did it, but...." If they know their market, they know who else is involved. They could help free up the market and give up the others.
