Sharp to introduce two 3G smartphones for Chinese market

OSAKA —

Sharp Corp will introduce two full touchscreen 3G smartphones, the SH8128U and SH8118U, into the Chinese market starting from October.

These smartphones come equipped with a large touchscreen LCD and user-friendly interface that is touch-oriented, easy-to-use, and intuitive. The models are designed for a comfortable fit in the hand and a high-grade visual appearance with simple flowing lines. Additionally, mobile Internet services and applications that are popular among the Chinese youth make it possible to enjoy social networking services, music, e-books, and more.

I read that as "throwing" upon first glance. Freudian Slip, I guess.

iPhone is way overrated. You need (to be) a computer geek to use all its features.

How long will it take the Chinese to open these new smartphones and make cheaper replicas??

    easy-to-use, and intuitive

... not a phrase that I'd usually associate with recent Japanese hardware.

elbudamexicano: remember in the 60s to 70s, japanese are thought to be as copycat king and later taiwan and korea, now china soon to be will be vietnam and india and the list will go on, so get use to it

China has been making smartphones and tablets for a while now running on Android. Samsunng has a big presence in China, can`t see Sharp doing well. Japanese phones are not popular abroad.
