Tatsumi Planning Corp on Saturday opened its new showroom which features 3D projection mapping, in Minatomirai, Kanagawa Prefecture. The introduction of the brand-new visual technology to a housing showroom is the first attempt in the world.

The high-tech showroom, "la bola", is aimed at answering visitors' questions regarding construction of houses through four sections or "4 cores." For example, visitors can imagine their own dream house while watching the 3D projection mapping in a room of the "DREAM CORE" section, and to continue their tour to the other sections with the dream house in their mind. In the "CENTER CORE" section, there is digital signage like a gigantic iPad which helps visitors learn about the company.

Tatsumi President Shigeru Yoneyama said: "I hit on the idea to use 3D projection mapping when I saw the show in front of Tokyo Station. It's a great way to convey our passion to customers."

Address: Queen's Tower C 11F, Minatomirai 2-3-5, Nishi-ku, Yokohama.
