Yeah, Windows Live Messenger is free and quality of video even better than Skype. So people will run away from MS to MS may be.
Its strange situation but on other hand lets hope Skype will return support for Windows mobile phones that was dropped some time ago. Competition is always a good thing.

Actually, I see a social network medium being formed powered by MS. It would be suicide to start charging for this.

Skype has worked flawlessly for years, now that it will be "housed" by Microsoft, it will never work properly again. I can see all the infamous "error" messages popping up all over my screen. Error this, error that...it was nice though!
