When I checked out Google TV to get the box, I got this on its website: "Nearby stores: There are no nearby stores."

Just bought a jumbo Samsung smart TV. Twenty or so years ago, you couldn't have given me a Samsung product for free but they have come along way (ditto for their country). Love the TV! Samsung is the maker whose name is on most of the electronic products in my home now. Sorry, Sony.

@recherche88 I use a vpn service to get a usa IP address. Any device I plug into the vpn router thinks its in the usa.

Must be great for the eyes to be that close to a TV.

@cactusJack why do you need to sit so close? I'm about 3m from my TV and no prob.

So I guess the future of domestic problems would be fighting over the TV ... as someone wants to watch the news, someone wants to do facebook, someone else wants to chat, and someone else wants to do something else with the TV.
I think I'll stick to my PC for now ... and convince me about these "smart TVs" later, when the prices will be reasonable.
