    It's been decades since Sony actually made anything in Japan. Its all made in China stuff now.

    A bit unfair people. Sony TVs don't burst into flame and are 2nd best selling in the world. Sony PS3s are by all accounts the most reliable game system in history. Just because 1 division (the battery division) sucks does not mean the entire company sucks. On the whole Sony is pretty good about product support.
