Hm, I'd love to see if it's just a gimmic or if there is some substance to this! Guess I'll have to wait for the software update to find out.

Software update should be free. Question is how HD is it going to take up?

Myself flogging mine to get the new Metallic Blue one, also the new controller(Wii style) looks interesting. Hope I can convince my son to use PS3 vs getting him a Wii.

Said that already using my PS3 as a Blue-Ray recorder as external TB(Terra-Byte) storage is cheap.
