Sony too Pricey and losing loyalty compare to other brands.

I think the best think right now is to break off Sony into little pieces so the most profitable sectors aren't being weighed down by the losers. Of course the Japanese government would never allow such a national face-losing move to happen, but that is the best thing from a business point of view.
Wouldn't shed a tear except for the PS3 and its titles. Xbox360 just doesn't cut it for me still.

Sony cannot blame everything on stronger Yen. Sony needs a fresh blood and vision to its management, filled with new thinkers and innovations, for knowledge based global economy.
How long is Sony planning to hung on to consumer market? Sony can do a BIG thing in medical R&D. The world population keeps growing and the market for medical technology is HUGE and widely open. I believe Sony has a solid resources to accomplish this task.
