I hate it when CNN and other American news fails to point out Canada part in many of the projects, alot of the tech on the mars rover, or even the sensors for the experiments are Canadian, even the canada arm is called the robot arm on American TV. I once had a chat with a japanese co worker about the issue, and he agreed, that our nations technology is dismissed even when it's used everyday. You then wonder why they think they invented everything.

Canada? Wheres that? This kind of ignorance you mentioned is quite common. Probably because Canada isnt a show boating country than others so the majority of the world assumes everything is American.
