the "thought-based driving" part is bullocks, too many thoughts going on, and EEG (brain activity) mixes it all, can't separate the single thought "turn left" from "nice film i saw last night" or whatever else is on your mind. but of course you can drive with other cues, like face twitches, eye movements, etc. risky stuff, but maybe thrilling and fun.

    scan the driver’s thoughts

LOL, do not tell this to my wife. I do not want her to know my thoughts. Leave me alone!

So when I look at a sexy woman walking down the road, will the car automatically honk the horn for me?

Drivers sometimes have some pretty bad thoughts about the car in front.

What if you're thinking: "Should I turn right or left?"

Google, Ebay, Amazon, Facebook are already doing this. So far they are collecting data.

It's okay to do this on the Internet BUT not my car.

This is such a funny story. So what happens when things start to get hot and heavy? Seats will automatically go flat, creating a bed? Thanks BumbleBee!! Radio changes on it's own. "When I get the feeling, I want......"

Geez, how many times do we CHANGE our minds while driving?? You know, you just remember you need to buy something from the store etc..I would not want my car to try to drive for me, no thanks.

The project uses brain activity measurement, And if it finds zero activity?

Will this car just shut down when being driven by the little bubbleheads I see driving in Okinawa?

How will the car respond to someone putting on make-up, texting, watching TV and eating a Mosburger all at the same time?

It'll never happen -- far too many variables happening both in and outside of the car. Voice recognition commands, I can see, but a thought based car... no.
