I wonder if the car will 'take over driving' when it realizes that the driver is drunk and pull to the side of the road, lock the seat belt and doors and then call the police? I'm all in for that type of 'automation'. Same goes for the driver texting or using their phone in hand while driving.

Their should be a law that any accidents caused by the car are the responsibility of the "driver", even though he just entered a destination and pushed the start button. Otherwise, there will be a lot of drawn out lawsuits involving the car's manufacturers, software engineers, etc.
