Cool photography, but this article raises more questions than it addresses.
Just what for example is France going to do with all that radioactive material when those 58 nuclear power stations reach their extended life of '60 or even 80' years?
Bill Gates talks about a perfect ideal: “If you could make nuclear really, really safe, and deal with the economics, deal with waste, then it becomes the nirvana you want: a cheaper solution with very little CO2 emissions,” Gates told Rolling Stone magazine in an interview last month.
If you could... yeah, right. This little chestnut gets put on the back burner every time. No-one has been able to solve it since nuclear first appeared on the scene.
Cheap now, pay later.
It seems that the world will be reaching nuclear crunch time within the life of my children.

Yep , you nailed it ,, cheap now pay later ,,short sighted decisions ,, But the worst part is , that we are just creating unsolvable problems for the future generations with the nuclear plants / waste .
