I don't know, I personally like twitter. I can get breaking news immediately, I get updates from my frequent sites (JT f.e.) and the people I follow, I can read other peoples thoughts about the last GOT episode, and best of all I can dump complaints (to JT mods) on twitter that nobody cares about. Especially the last one is such a stress reliever.

Who cares about what investors say? Who cares about what analysts say?

I think Twitter will soon be merge with another company. It'll be interesting to see if South Korea's Naver Corporation--which has a large presence in Japan through the LINE messaging service--buys Twitter and merges Twitter with LINE itself.
