I'd like to see them try to ban the Wii in the states. The general public wouldn't stand for that for long. More likely this company just wants a piece of Nintendo's pie in the end, though. At least they actually have a product of their own, unlike the companies that survive on patent legal action alone.

Nintendo's got other issues it needs to worry about, namely, releasing some games, period. Lack of quality titles, or any titles at all, is seriously putting a damper on many people's initial enthusiasm. Gamers can only stomach so much of yet another version of Wii fit.

Nintendo made the power glove 20 years ago that was a 3D pointing device. I hate these money hungry leaches.

Stealing technology from the US is not a new thing for Japan or did you think they invented IC Chips, LCD, GUI, and lasers. All of which makes up the majority of Japan's consumer products industry and parts of the wii. Now Japan goes after Korea and China for those countries industries blatant infringement of Japan's patents.

Money grabs by patent holding companies are nothing new, especially given how easy it is to gain patents that are either obvious or that have extensive prior art. Big companies with successful products are attacked all the time by these scum.

What's different in this case is that the U.S. International Trade Commission has become involved. Maybe the company failed through normal routes (maybe because their patents are trivial and would not stand up to legal scrutiny) and now is bringing a U.S. gov. dept. to bear in a final attempt to illegally obtain money from a successful company.

The Wii has turned out to be so dull. Not many really decent games except for Mario Galaxy.

These games are not good for kids, they should ahve more educational games and less fantasy violence. No wonder kids turn out so bad.

Japanese firms have been stealing technology for years, eck Sony beven stole flat screen technology rom Samsung.

Americans should behave like Japanese and only buy XBOX 360 and ignore PS3 and Wii. XBOX does bad in Japan due to racism and the Wii is stolen American technology, shame on you Nintendo.

They are also the least ethical and havr the worst environmental policy of any amjor firm worldwide.
