if it is a public place you should be able a conceal carry unless posted otherwise. -this goes double for Texas. In fact I am absolutely stunned that Houston would even try to fight this since they would lose in court.
hahaha, you think that's scary? Here's a little fact for you. Thousands of pilots in the US are armed. Last year a gun accidentally went off on a US Airways flight.
If you ban guns then only the crooks will be carrying. I carry my 357 almost everyware.
To me this is only evidence of the impotence of authorities of the greatest nation on earth to provide public safety. If the public needs to protect themselves by carrying lethal weapons nothing has changed since the pioneer days.
mrhog123: Couldn't agree more. My Sig 9mm never leaves my side. God bless the NRA! presto345: Agree 100%: nothing has changed since the pioneer days. Personal freedoms are just fine by me.
presto, if the cops are there every moment that you are in public, then people, possibly even people like you, will, not might, but will complain about living in a facist state where the police are everywhere and constatntly looking over your shoulder. you can't have it both ways. won't ever happen as long as people remain human.
Oh, Joy! Yeah, let's ALL get guns and what a wonderful world it would be. Well, let me tell you a story. In a little town whose name escapes me, deep in the heart of Texas, it is obligatory to own a gun. The residents can live peacefully and even leave their doors unlocked. Nobody's been shot, arrested or the like, and there's been no robberies in living memory. Probably the most bored sheriff in the state. More guns = less crime. If the average punk thinks you'll shoot back he'll think twice or three times before doing anything stupid. Less stupid = good = safe.
What, did I miss something?
This article is about:
A) Trick or treat at airports and your child's right to dress like Britney going through insecurity
B) Box cutters, 911 and the need to ban all those boxes
C) Walking like an Egyptian
D) Gun owners in America who have legal concealed carry permits in airport terminals.
The only single example you can site regarding this "threat" is of an Egyptian terrorist in 2002 who, "killed two people and wounded several others near a ticket counter at the Los Angeles airport before being shot to death by an El Al Israel Airlines security guard"?
Ooooh, how scary.
I mean, not the terrorist, but the thought of all those Americans clinging to their guns and religion at the same time while the country is at war and in recession! And worst of all, all those crazy Americans might actually vote to keep the rights that generations from Lexington and Concord have fought and died for. No, we cant have that.
"Many US airports"? They're really uptight here in the US airports about everything, and I can't believe they'd let people in with guns at some airports. Smart, no?! =D
I dont see any problems with this, I am a law-abiding citizen who away checks in my RPG and M60 before flying commercial. What is wrong with you people? Can't you see that my brother festus and I are quite within our rights to dig a weapons pit in front of the United Airlines counter at LAX and string up a couple of claymores?

I'm cool with it. Will finally see some orderly lines.
