JAL cuts back flights to Asia
TOKYO —
Japan Airlines will temporarily reduce flight frequency on three international routes in response to a decline in demand resulting from the current global economic downturn.
Flight frequency on the Tokyo-Bangkok route will be reduced from 21 to 14 flights per week until March 28. From Feb 10 to March 28, flight frequency will be reduced on two China routes with the Narita-Beijing route decreasing from 19 to 14 flights per week, and the Narita-Shanghai route decreasing from 28 to 21 flights per week.

i am not surprised! i wonder if they would decrease their narita-manila flights! that would be a disaster!!!

...JAL should lease their aircrafts to developing countries then.

Leasing the aircraft would probably too expensive because of the maintenance.
