I guess it is a good educational opportunity for them. I just wish they do not speak too loud in public, and hopefully they will help to replace communism in China someday.
People from the city of Shanghai are by far among the richest in China. The 100,000 that went to visit Japan have more disposible income than the average Japanese. Trust me.
definitely see more Chinese these days in Ginza. they have to learn not to do their usual practice (i.e., bump and shove people out of the way, spit on the street, and just downright noisy) here in Japan.
Incredible prejudice against Chinese people here from reading the garbage comments. If I were from Shanghai I would definitely choose somewhere else to spend my money.
I do not mind about cleaning the garbage near my shop. Most of them are customers of my small noddle shop. We need to be friendly to our new customers. If there is no tourist, life will be very touch.

Wow! With the strength of the yen I'm amazed they can afford it.

100,000 people from China visit Japan in 2008. This will do wonders to promote trade between China and Japan.

ironchef, Japanese people already do that stuff here, so what difference does it make when people of other nationalities do it?
