I wonder what the surcharge will be on these flights to Haneda will be hmmm?

I met an off duty airport customs agent a few years ago who told me that EVERY foreign person getting off a plane from the Netherlands has their bag searched. What about the Japanese? Only if they look suspicious. Does Haneda have the facilities to handle this?

I was in the Netherlands two years ago but didn't have any special treatment when I got back.

Why only night flights? Isn't there going to be any daytime departures/Arrivals at haneda? It would be nicer than going to Narita everytime.....

    To be dubbed "Hamsterdam Flights"

Love ol'Amsterdam with its "happy" cafes. Seems that since the good stuff is so popular in japan, these flights will be fully booked! Though according to recent news, best to check the vitals regularly....

Haneda and London night flights. Really? I don't see how as Heathrow is closed at night. Unless they mean Gatwick, which has crap transport links at night time and is in Sussex.

That's cute, but I prefer "Schanepolda" because it sounds like a courtly dance.

Night-time refers only to when taking off or landing at Haneda, I suppose with the 11 hour flight time lapse, whenever the plane is departing or arriving at Heathrow it will be daytime in London.

I dunno if Australian flights will be allowed in to Haneda anytime soon but, let's give a big thanks to the Sanrizuka-Shibayama Union whose hardlined anti-Narita airport stance has finally brought a renewed, albeit forced purpose for Haneda.

NeoJamal, when you take the time differnce into account night flights from Haneda will be arriving in London very late evening or very early morning.

No Narita run... fantastic. I am a fully functional KLM flying Dutchman and love Schipol, makes Heathrow look like what it is, not nice.
