In anticipation of the first snowfall of the coming winter season in Hokkaido, the Hilton Niseko Village has prepared a special campaign valid through Monday, Nov 30.
All guests staying at the hotel on the day of “hatsuyuki” (first snowfall) stay for free (for bookings via Hilton brand websites or by phone directly to the hotel).
Guests whose first name or surname contains the word “yuki” (snow) will be offered their choice of either a special dinner course, or a free upgrade to a deluxe room.
All guests who successfully predict the day of “hatsuyuki” will be included in a drawing, in which one guest will be awarded a Special Skiing Package.
Niseko comprises four areas - Annupuri, Higashiyama, Hirafu and Hanazono - all meeting at the summit some 1300 meters above sea level. A single ski pass allows visitors access to 48-km terrain, 61 runs and 38 lifts and gondolas. Only a few trails are more than 30 degrees in gradient, and there is an even mix of runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers.

How about letting the lucky guests stay for free until there's enough snow to ski on?
Who would go to Niseko before it snows?
