Viva Macau Airlines offering cheaper tickets

TOKYO —

Viva Macau Airlines has introduced cheaper fares between Narita and Macau. Economy and business class fares are being sold for 30,000 yen and 90,000 yen (excluding tax and surcharge) respectively.

The company said it expects an increase in the number of Japanese travelers to Macau as a result of the recent deregulation of chartered overseas tours.

This is PR, not news. Surely, if it were news, the reporter would ask the question, "How much does it really cost?"

If anyone from Viva Macau or their PR company reads this, perhaps they would like to comment.

Good news, nonetheless. How did they get slots at Narita? I thought all slots are always taken.
