AirAsia to restart Japan flights early next year

I think basing the airline in Chubu is a good idea as it is centrally located and away from the saturated markets of Tokyo and Osaka.

@jazz350, a big advantage of basing out of Chubu Centrair International Airport is that there is direct train service back to Nagoya Station, a major stop on the Tokaido Shinkansen line. And that means easy access to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and points west all the way to Fukuoka (Hakata).
