Either airlines are not interested in Business or they do not know how to do business when fuel prices are low.

1.8 percent doesn't seem very dramatic to me. All corporations should be prepared for that kind of drop.

17 airlines in asia pacific carry 141,500,000 people in 2008. In 2007 they carried 144,000,000.
There is global companies scam caused slowdown, 141.5 million people still good. The number of people flying will increase in asia pacific nations as the region become net debtors . European,Americans, western flyers will get less as the loans and debts get bigger.
Airbus,Boeing,GE,Rolls Royce and all involved in air transport industries will still do well as Asia pacific nations become a bigger and bigger in financial industrial sucess.
