Chiba to offer free highway bus tours from Narita Airport to sightseeing spots

The Chiba Prefectural Government will offer "Highway Bus" services limited to a period from Sept 17 to Oct 31, providing passengers boarding and disembarking from Narita Airport with free bus trips to famous tourist spots in the prefecture, including Kamogawa and Choshi. The bus services, all short-distance trips from Narita Airport, will take passengers to attractive destinations of Chiba, including those offering magnificent views and irresistible tastes.

Operating courses (2 routes)

(1) Shuttle trip from Narita Airport to Kamogawa (via Ichihara, Ohara, Onjuku and Katsuura) The Kamogawa Sea World is a popular marine resort for observing various marine animals and experiencing various hands-on programs.

(2) Round trip from Narita Airport via Choshi, Sawara, Sosa and Asahi. Sawara/Choshi, a Japan Heritage site, still has rows of houses reminiscent of the elegance of the Edo era (1603-1867).

Tour details (1) Number of trips per day Kamogawa course: 3 shuttle trips per day Choshi course: 4 round trips per day, including 2 Sawara trips and 2 Sosa/Asahi trips

(2) Fare One-day tickets: 1,000 yen for Kamogawa course and 700 yen for Choshi course *Half fare for primary school children, free for preschool children, and also free for passengers on flights to and from Narita Airport.

(4) Others Special benefits available to bearers of the bus ticket at various stops along the bus routes.

Great idea after SFO to NRT trip. The traveler may be a little sleepy, just wake him/her for the quick picture.
