There are signs all over beautiful structures here and it really ruins it for the most part. But, that is the Japanese way. It is better than grafitti. I just use Photoshop "Content Aware Tool" and I get rid of all the bad signs. Works brilliantly.
The way signs/posters are used here are sort of how the intercom in a mansion or house or how lights switches are put smack in a middle of a long wall so you cannot use the wall for anything. Shameful lack of logic.
