How much more do these flights cost than departures from Narita? Information please.

With ANA, leaving from Haneda to Beijing on December 1st, returning on December 4th = Y63000. From Narita it's Y56000. This is the EcoWari ticket.

    Not much price difference.

    I must be naive...

Why on earth should the prices be different ? Difference in airport fees on airlines ?

Waiting for the first flights between Paris and Haneda, so that Haneda would become a true "hub" and I could fly to other parts of Japan with "transit" status and without having to put up with all this aggravation of commuting between Narita and Haneda.

I have no tenderness for Gov. Ishihara and no hostility against the Gov. of Chiba, but I am sure that Haneda is the only logical solution to the problem of Japan connecting with the world. Let Narita return to what it was originally : rice paddies.

Unless of course the idiosyncratic J-bureaucracy wants to guarantee a bright future to Incheon...

it's the same with Seoul, it's more expensive from Haneda. But nevertheless I use Haneda...

It's more expensive because of landing fees and high demand. I.e. supply and demand means the slots are being bid up. Haneda is building extra strips that will alleviate this in the short run, but the fact is a lot of airlines are having this problem.

Same reason LaGaurdia airport is that much more expensive than JFK. Basic economics.
