Hilton Beijing executive tower to open July 1

The Hilton Beijing will open its new $32 million executive tower on July 1. The new tower is adjoining the mail building and will increase the number of rooms at the Hilton Beijing by 126 rooms. The tower is comprised entirely of executive rooms and suites over nine floors. The new tower will also have an Executive Plus Lounge on the third floor, the Infiniti round ballroom on the ground floor, and several Hilton Meeting rooms.

“Over our many years in China, Hilton has seen the business travel sector grow and we anticipate that to continue. With premium facilities and Hilton’s excellent location in Beijing, the Executive Tower will allow us to build on Hilton’s popularity among business travelers and cement our position as Beijing’s leading business hotel,” said Vlad Reyes, general manager of Hilton Beijing.

Wow, labor really is cheap in China if you can build a nine-story building for only $32,000,000. Bill Gates' house in the US cost $25,000,000 to build and it's only three stories (counting a 27-car garage.)
