InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the very first Holiday Inn Express hotel in South Korea.

The 224-room Holiday Inn Express Seoul Euljiro is nestled in a commercial and financial precinct between the Myeong-dong, Namsan and Dongdaemoon areas, known for their variety of shopping options and sites of cultural and artistic significance.

Holiday Inn Express Seoul Euljiro offers a choice of double-bed and twin-bed rooms, as well as free on-site parking.

The hotel is easily accessible by public transport, located just one minute’s walk from the Euljiro3-ga station on the Seoul Subway Line, and is one hour from Incheon International Airport.

As with the over 2,300 Holiday Inn Express hotels around the world, guests can expect:

  • Free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel to ensure connectivity to the ones who matter;
  • Free Express Start Breakfast or a Grab & Go option for a smart start to the day;
  • A choice of firm or soft pillows for a comfortable and restful night’s sleep; and
  • Refreshing power showers with a three-function massage showerhead.

Karin Sheppard, Chief Operating Officer for Australasia, Japan, Korea & Franchise, IHG, said, “Holiday Inn Express is our fastest growing brand globally - on average, we open two new Holiday Inn Express hotels every week - and is an ideal option for the modern, on-the-go traveller ... The opening of our first Holiday Inn Express hotel in the Republic of South Korea is a major milestone in our expansion plans in Asia, and brings our total portfolio in South Korea to nine hotels.”
