KLM codeshares with Korean Air between Fukuoka-Seoul and Sapporo-Seoul
TOKYO —
To better serve the Fukuoka and Sapporo markets, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started to codeshare with Korean Air, Sky Team member, between Fukuoka-Seoul and Sapporo-Seoul.
These newly introduced code share operations connect Fukuoka and Sapporo with Amsterdam Schiphol and over 90 cities in Europe, Africa and Latin America via Seoul 6 times per week, except Thursdays. From March 25, these services will be offered daily. These codeshare services will be in addition to the since May 2011 existing codeshare operation between Nagoya-Seoul.
In addition to the direct services from Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai International airport to Amsterdam Schiphol airport, this network enhancing from Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo, will lead to its business expansion in Japan.

KLM, welcome back to Sapporo. This is good news, just as I was thinking of visiting Amsterdam, though direct flights from Sapporo to Amsterdam were even more convenient.
