Nishi-Nippon Railroad to open 1st overseas hotel in Seoul

Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co has announced the grand opening on Sept 12, 2015, of Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeong-dong, a high-end luxury hotel, in Seoul, South Korea.

The company's first and flagship hotel abroad, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeong-dong will be located within a 3-minute walking distance from Myeong-dong subway station at the heart of Seoul's bustling Myeong-dong district known as the city's business, shopping and sightseeing center dotted with famous department stores and many popular shops and restaurants.

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeong-dong will have a total of 312 guest rooms, including upper-floor guest rooms with a spectacular view of the city, each of which will be decorated like a resort hotel, offering high quality and relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the energetic Myeong-dong.

Markt Co Ltd, which runs "The Garden" Pan Mediterranean restaurant in Chuo Ward in Fukuoka City, will be commissioned to operate the hotel's restaurant department. Hotel guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks at the restaurant on the 21st floor while enjoying the city's panoramic view.
