Peach Aviation starts selling tickets on Osaka-Fukuoka, Osaka-Sapporo routes

OSAKA —

Peach Aviation Limited, Japan’s first dedicated low cost carrier, has started selling tickets for its Osaka-Fukuoka and Osaka-Sapporo routes.

Peach said the sale period for the one-way 250 yen special sale will be announced at a later date.

In conjunction with the start of ticket sales, Peach has added new features and information to its website that includes an easy to understand guide to the low cost carrier and its services as well as hotel and rent-a-car details.

Peach Aviation is preparing for its first flight in March 2012.

I just quickly browsed through the website (yes Foxie, it's up) and it looks like the web pages were a bit rushed, many features and links are still non-existent, including the language selection (only Japanese at the moment).

What I am really wanting to see is the fuel surcharges table, if it's a fixed rate or varying depending on the flight and travel details. If the cost is really low as they claim, then local tourism will pick up for the selected destinations. I for one, am interested in going to Sapporo with my wife for several days.
