Scandinavian Airlines announces summer offer for EuroBonus members in Japan

TOKYO —

Scandinavian Airlines will launch a special summer offer for its EuroBonus members in Japan. EuroBonus is the SAS frequent flyer program. Under this offer, members will get from 10,000 to 20,000 extra points, in addition to their regular basic points, valid for one Tokyo-Copenhagen round trip per person, during the period June 1 to Aug 31.
EuroBonus has won several times the Freddie Awards, the most prestigious award in the travel industry. Membership is open to all customers from the age of two, with no admission fee or annual fee. As EuroBonus members, adults and children earn the same number of points, even though children normally pay less for their tickets. There are many ways to earn points, besides flights operated by SAS and partner airlines: hotel stays, car rentals, shopping, and more.
Earned points can be used for flights, hotel stays, car rentals and various other benefits through SAS and many EuroBonus partners. Members can exchange earned points for bonus travels with SAS and Star Alliance partners, a world wide network that covers more than 160 countries, with 916 airports. Furthermore, family members and relatives can also use the points. Points can also be used to purchase items from the SAS EuroBonus Shop.
The only thing you need to do to benefit from this campaign, is to register on SAS’ website, www.flysas.co.jp. The extra points will then automatically be added to your EuroBonus account after you have flown. The extra campaign points can be used as any other points for all reward tickets, upgrades and purchases, but they will not count towards a higher EuroBonus level.
SAS EuroBonus offers three membership levels: Basic, Silver and Gold. Members are automatically upgraded to the next level, once they have earned the required number of points. For Silver and Gold level members, special privileges are offered, for example, extra baggage allowance for Silver members, fast track and lounge access for Gold members.
“SAS EuroBonus is known as one of the most points-obtainable frequent flyer programs in the world, for its wealth of partners, plenty of opportunities to earn points, and long terms of validity up to five years,” says Ole Johansson, Regional General Manager of Scandinavian Airlines Asia Pacific.

No matter what SAS offers, I will not fly with them again. The Flight Attendants need to learn basic manners and social graces first, and the food sucks.
