Sponsored video: Air BNB launches global campaign

Visiting the coolest cities on earth and staying in the best locations is what is at the heart of the latest Airbnb campaign. If you are unfamiliar with how the system works, basically you browse people’s homes on the Airbnb homepage (There are listings in over 190 countries). These have been pre-approved and usually stayed in by multiple travelers who rate and comment on the property listings.

Once you have found the place you like, you simply inquire on your dates and the host gets back to you directly. Payments are all done through the website on a secure platform, so no cash transaction happens.

The benefits of this system are that you get the hottest locations for cheaper and more private accommodation than a hotel, all the amenities of a home and you get to meet a local when picking up the keys, who not only shows you around the house but can offer great tips on places to visit during your stay.

The video takes you on an amazing train ride illustrating how traveling makes the world feel smaller, connecting you to people and places more than ever before. The video was made in New Zealand and was shot in one take, without any computer-generated imagery.

Jonathan Mildenhall, Airbnb's CMO, says: “As you board the train in this film, you’re transported into a magical world that represents the very heart of Airbnb. As you wind your way through some of the amazing listings Airbnb has to offer, you get a different perspective on the world".
