I was stuck for 10 hours once. I really enjoyed it. SUmmer time, no air, no water, locked toilets.

I think my claustrophobia would evolve into panic attack after 1 hour. Then what?

This is great, but does not apply to international airlines, only US based ones.
Now if the Obama administration would take it a step further and enact a full Passenger Bill of Rights, maybe flying would become a little more enjoyable.

3 hours still seem like a long time, but I guess it's a start.

American holiday flyers have put their trust in a piece of legislation that won't help them get to their destination on time instead of being towed by the F40PH

maybe if passengers mutiny after a couple hours they may get off the plane. If all passengers do it unanimously then the authorities would have little choice than to drop all the charges or the publicity could lose them a lot of business.

Now they need to enact a bill to teach the flight attendants how to be courteous to the passengers...
