Have they even lifted a finger to try to help themselves? Not really. Do they deserve our help? Not really. Time to try to help yourselves and not always ask for handouts.

Damn right! Malnourished, illiterate peasants living in fear of murder and rape and their children suffering horribly in front of their eyes. How dare they ask for help from the rich nations of the world! Hope it never happens to you, Dude.

kyushujoe, I've heard from people that went down there to help. They had rocks thrown at them and when international troops were there pulling rubble away these people just stood by and watched. They did nothing to help out. This is lazy. Africa replanted in the Americas. Hope that never happens to you my friend.
