I am sure Italians are not racist, and just will smile, poor open some wine, cheese and let these new migrants enjoy their country. The EU must help out Spain, Italy etc..if these North Africans countries go to hell, then you will be sure many people will want to escape the violence etc..and go up to Italy etc...

This is just the prelude. millions of Africans want to use the lawless interlude in Libya as the chance to get to the vast Welfare State known as Europe.

Sicilians are not likely to embrace more than their own culture... These immigrants are most likely NOT Christian. I don't see this going well at all, even if EU "aid" is offered...

Someone fleeing death or imprisonment or riots is not a 'migrant'. They are refugees.

I agree with borsct, these people do not sound like your regular Albanians etc...more like very desperate refugees, trying to get the hell out of horrible situations there in Libya etc...ad yes, as Otumfuo said, Italy was in bed with Ghaddaffi for a long time, getting cheap oil etc..from Libya now they can enjoy all of these refugees.
