13 people shot, wounded at Connecticut house party

A shooting at a crowded house party early Sunday left 13 people wounded, and police in Connecticut are investigating what they say is an unusual outburst of violence in the state’s largest city.

Bridgeport is only 16mi (26km) from Newton, CT... site of the Sandy Hook Elementary mass murders. I guess the city police figure the city's borders are some sort of anti-violence barrier so what happens outside has no chance of happening inside?
