Sad as it is to say this, I suspect that a military coup would be preferable to the current Islamist regime in Turkey.

The military were a guarantee against an Islamist regime since Ataturk formed the republic but it seems they lose power, sadly.

This is a big news to me.

Turkey will play very important role in Middle East stability. What comes next after Egypt,Tunisia and Sudan? I am in middle of history changes. What does this mean to rest of us and Israel?

The AKP is solidifiying its hold on the country, and continuing to dismember Kemalism.

The stupid Western mainstream media, of course, don´t see the forest among the trees.

This is not an isolated incident, but part of Turkey continuing slide into an islamic theocracy, following the Iranian model.
