Wow, based on reading this, it sure sounds to me like they got a raw deal. If they're bringing these charges, the same way they did in the other case, I'm hoping these prosecutors get prosecuted themselves. If on the other hand they actually have evidence that contradicts what this article says, I sincerely hope they bring it forward.

"They said the company armed some of its workers in Afghanistan despite U.S. military documents that prohibited them from carrying guns."
It seems as if the company bears some responsibility, too.
Who was actually killed? People in the car? This seems important, but we are not given these details, but then, as they were not American, I suppose they were not considered that important, just more collateral damage as they say.
Although the President of the U.S.A. has changed, it seems little else has. It seems the Nobel peace prize winner still uses Blackwater mercenaries. Only the names have changed.

They caused an accident in front of their vehicle and then sped towards these contractors? Well it sounds as if the contractors did the correct thing in protecting themselves. When will the politically correct world realize it's ok to protect yourself?

Assuming the contractors' words are taken for truth, if Americans really care for the Iraqis, they'd take the bystanders' witness accounts too.

Who really knows what happened. Maybe they were defending themselves, maybe not. Maybe they both acted accordingly given what they understood the situation to be at that particular point in time.

Heh, sounds like a name Chuck Norris might have used as a merc in Afghanistan.

Don't hire mercs if you don't want them to shoot...

The two sound uncomfortably like Uncle Jimbo and Ned.

Then he absolutely shouldn't be allowed in areas considered dangerous. These guys make it really difficult for the real military to get the locals to support their efforts.
