I want to see mass protests in Gaza against the rocket launchers.

I want to see Palestine doing something here. We had the possibility of peace and persons with the brains of a tick intervene with their efforts.

No one, either side can condone such actions committed by Isreal or Hamas/Palestine. < :-)

and have they ever stopped to think why these Palestinians might be fighting so hard for land and statehood that was handed over so easily to the jews and yet has eluded them ever since. both parties were fighting for statehood and only one of them received it with the blessing of washington. history has shown what poor judgement the fools scripted for the white house tend to exhibit.this ridiculous blend of commerce and politics, known as israel lives in a false paradise unfortunately

Akaguma it was the UN, not the US only that sanctioned the creation of Isreal.

Akaguma, at first there were two states, which one side rejected, attacked the other, lost, and was expelled.

The partition plan was rejected out of hand by the leadership of the Palestinian Arabs and by most of the Arab population. Most of the Jews accepted the proposal, in particular the Jewish Agency, which was the Jewish state-in-formation. Numerous records indicate the joy of Palestine's Jewish inhabitants as they attended the U.N. session voting for the division proposal. Up to this day, Israeli history books mention 29 November, the date of this session, as the most important date leading to the creation of the Israeli state.
