Wish Mr.Obama could help Mexico fight against these mafia bastards!!

Ironically Obama HELPED the "mafia "astards" obtain guns, see the fast and furious scandal. Mexico needs to help itself, it is NOT a poor country by any means.

This latest round of killings is also likely more blood on the hands of Holder and Obama.

I remember back in the 80's with the Iran-Contra scandal and how it affected Reagan. Press was all over it because a Republican was in the White House. Also with the lead up to the Iraq war and the WMD's, press was all over it again when it was found that there weren't any.

But somehow, the press is not really pushing this issue too much about the "Fast and Furious" case. Sure you get some hits and you probably have to look at Fox to get continuing coverage, but where is the NYT and other media demanding an explination from the Obama Admin. I guess it is good to have the press on your side.

It really hurts me reading about all this violence all the time in Mexico. Mexico is such a great and beautiful country. I spend some of the best times of my life there and I truly hope it will go back to the country it once was.

    Elbuda:

You base a whole country (China) on the actions of a group of people and call them all filthy, and yet here we have horrible killings yet again in your country. I guess generalizations and stereotyping only works one way. I knew really nice Mexicans at college (I shared a room with one) and it's a shame they have to deal with this in their country. However, I'll try not to stoop to your level.

Sorry Pukey2, I no communist countries do not allow you to talk about the truth, in this case against the mother land, Beijing, what the heck does it have to do with Mexico now?? Lots of Chinese DRUGS, the ingredients to make CRYSTAL METH are leaving CHINA and INDIA into Mexico, on the surface they look innocent, but the USA, DEA, etc..has put international bans on these ingredients, Chinese in Mexico have been arrested for these connections, let me see many of the AK 47 machine guns are MADE IN CHINA, they are sold to scum in the USA, and these scum transport Chinese made AK 47 machine guns in to the hands of really bad gangs in Los Angeles, etc..but this news is about MEXICO, so los cuernos de chivo, goat horns as we so lovingly call these machine guns, being made in your country, CHINA, are killing my people night and day, in Mexico, try to stoop to my level now.

Guns don't kill people. They are none-living items. People kill people. It's your national-ethnic chauvinism blinding you to the truth. You can't accept your own background killing one another because your "so proud of your heritage" that you have to blame somebody else or even blaming an item like guns.

Mexican authorities say at least 21 people were killed Friday in three shootouts between soldiers and gunmen and a fight between rival drug gangs.

It would be interesting to know how many of the guns that AG Eric Holder exported to Mexico were used in these killings...

I think most would have to agree with AiserX on the point on guns and that Guns do not kill people no more than a shovel digs a ditch, both are only tools and have no free will of their own. It is the individual that turns any weapon into an offensive weapon. These types of killings have been going on for a long time now, I can not remember the name but right across the Texas border on the Mexico side there is a town that is the deadliest in Mexico. Weapons are synonymous with drugs and will be so till there are no more people. I do feel sorry for the soldiers and their families that lose their lives in these battles. From my point of view if you respond with an over whelming amount of soldiers when these scenarios happen then you should eliminate all of the hostiles. Unfortunately Mexican soldiers know that there are many corrupt coworkers and their lives are in peril even when they are not in uniform because of retaliation from the gangs. They put their families at risk just by becoming a law officer....many will not do that and that is why they are out numbered. These gangs kill judges..politicians...so they do not hesitate to pull the trigger on a person in uniform and there will always be more willing to become drug dealers than men in uniform as the lure of easy money is irresistible to many.

Very well said my dear Mr.Constantine, except about GUNS not killing people. Look if GUNS did not kill people, heck we would send the US Army over in Iraq with shovels, tennis rackets, frying pans, wrenches,to try and kill terrorists right?? If we use our imagination, we can kill or hurt with just about anything, this is why many things are prohibited in jails and prisons. If you live here in Japan, say here in the city that counts, TOKYO, just imagine being on the Yamanote line, Chuo line etc..with thousands and thousands of people in say Shinjuku station and one nutty Japanase sarariman just had a really crappy day, just got fired from his job that he had plugged away for say 55 years ok?? This guy is angry, he wants revenge, he does not want to suffer all by himself, ok?? Who is Mr.Angry Tanaka going to kill more people with, a hot greasy frying pan?? Or say an AK 47 fully automatic?? An UZI, an M 16?? So back to Mexico, the sad thing is we have a saying south of the border, EL PLOMO O LA PLATA, meaning you accept PLOMO, lead, bullets through your head and rest of your body and PLATA, silver but in this case meaning $$$$, bribes, the mafia will get you one way or another, if you are a police officer, either you take bribes and are now owned by the state and a mafia or you try to be an honest one and makes you be on the hit lists of all of the mafias, and this goes on and on for soldiers, for customs officials, lawyers, politicians, newspaper reporters, BLOGGERS etc..really, really a horrible situation in my beloved Mexico, so from my point of view Malaysia is a great country HANG ALL THE DRUG MULES, how I wish we had this law in Mexico, the USA and in all of Latin America too. IMHO.
