West Virginia's environment has long been damaged by big coal and other industries run by people like the Koch brothers who have influenced politics there for decades. My sympathies are for the poor folk who've suffered because of this latest catastrophe and who have had to suffer for generations. '16 ton(ne)s' comes to mind.

Politicizing a natural catastrophe! Do you think the families of the 24 or more would appreciate that?

It's truely sad when the dead are used as pawns unknowingly. The victims, family and friends need comfort and not politicizing. Natural catastrophes have happened since the dawn of time. Unfortunately this one claimed lives.
